Worldbank was my fake bank promoting the natural world as the real bank, using posters, leaflets, bank notes and share certificates, modelled on what high street banks produce. I took these to a G8 demonstration in Belfast in 2013, and to agricultural, vintage and craft shows in Northern Ireland and a shopping mall in Dublin.
The words in the border of the Starlit Story share certificate include, as well as the sun, moon and stars, an array of the sub-atomic particles that traverse through space. The figure is loosely based on Leonardo da Vinci's drawing of Vitruvian Man.
The image of the moon on the Moonlit Nights banknote is based on a drawing of it by Galileo.
The poster does not have a grey tinge as shown in the image.
